Enhanced Test Series 2010 (ETS)

Introduction The Entrance
The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is an examination organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India. This test is for admission to various under-graduate engineering and architecture courses in institutes accepting the AIEEE score, including 20 NITs.(National Institute of Technology) In 2007, around 8,50,000 wrote the AIEEE and in 2008 around 9,50,000 (a whopping 1,00,000 increment) applicants have already been registered making it one of the largest such admission exams in the world.

Introduction Eligibility for AIEEE
The aspiring candidate must have passed the final examination of 10+2 syatem or its equivalent. Those appearing for the 10+2 final examination or equivalent may also take AIEEE for consideration of provisional admission.

Introduction Examination Pattern of AIEEE (for B.E./B.Tech)
The AIEEE examination is conducted every year in the month of April or May precisely after the HSC board / CBSE examination. 15% seats are under state quota for selected institutions.

Paper Subjects Covered Paper pattern
Paper 1 Physics, Chemistry & Maths Objective type paper with equal weightage to all 3 subjects
alongwith 1/4th negative marking for incorrect response.
Paper 2 B.E./B.Tech Aspirants are not required to appear for this paper.
