Easy to read Booklets for each subject:
Maximum relevant information, which is made concise and easy to read, is represented in a booklet for each subject. These booklets serve as a ready to use tool for quick revision as well as a guide for test solving.
Unique Question Based Active Learning:
Classroom teaching is totally objective in nature with each classroom session based on a clearly defined specified topic. The Practice test administered at the start of the session contains questions which represent all sub topics within that topic. The live discussion with classroom faculty will analyze the question stem carefully and provide rationale for correct answer and also discuss the incorrect answer alternatives in detail, while covering relevant theory in a very concise manner. This enables the student to master the knowledge base required to confidently and correctly attempt all MCQ's pertaining to the topic. The material has been prepared based on predefined guidelines ,so as to cover the topic comprehensively and within the stipulated time.
Diagnostic Test (DT):
DT is scheduled on day one of the course and helps in providing the feedback about level at which the student stands in terms of preparation. Based on the results in DT, future course of action can be planned.
Practice Test (PT):
The classroom discussions and teachings are based on the live Practice Test consisting of MCQs especially created to cover the respective topic of discussion.
Special Tests:
Tests based on Oral Pathology (Shafer's), Oral Medicine (Burket's), Oral Surgery (Neelima Malik's), Oral Radiology (White & Pharoah's) & High Yield Tests (HYTs)
These voluminous textbooks are nightmare for most of the students preparing for PG entrance exam. Taking clue from this fact, we have framed a strategy to go through these textbooks in an easy way by conducting tests based on these textbooks. HYTs are short tests based on pre-decided focused topic/s. Special tests provide the essential extra edge to race ahead comfortably.
Extra Difficulty Facility:
While preparing for entrance exam, difficulties faced in the form of MCQs are answered by our expert faculties within specified time. Thus this facility provides a helping hand in getting difficulties solved and saving your precious time.
Online Academic Zone:
Through our website, students can access study tips and tests throughout the course. This acts like a 24-hour help line for the students. Tests available online needs to be attempted online only and under no circumstances these will be provided in print format.
Model Test Papers:
This consists of 20 full-fledged tests for MDS students (10 AIPGE pattern + 10 State PG pattern) with explanatory answers and references.
Ex-rankers talk:
A live discussion is arranged between our Ex- rankers and classroom students to share the exam feedback and to discuss preparation strategy.
Hostel Assistance:
Vidyasagar does not have its own hostel setup. At the same time since many students do come down to stay near the classroom venues, we shall readily provide the assistance in terms of information related to suitable and cost-effective private/government hostels available nearby. For this, students must get in touch with respective branch offices of Vidyasagar. Whenever only tests are conducted, students can opt for this facility so that traveling to the classroom venue to just write the test is avoided saving precious time and energy. To have this facility at places other than Vidyasagar offices/centers, a minimum of 15 students are required to activate a particular test center.
