Difficulty corner
The above course broadly has following features.
Foundation Material : The new syllabus of Std. XII has 30-40% topics which are in continuation/basic topics required for concept clearing in Std. XI and important from CET ’11 point of view. Such material shall be combined and given to you as foundation material which can be referred by students during CET ’11 preparation.
The course material is in the form of lessons on the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and / or Mathematics with sufficient no. of MCQs. The contents of these lessons are consistent with CET examination.
All the lessons are divided into FIVE sets and are mailed to students by courier or registered post as per the predetermined schedule.The provisional schedule for mailings are:

Students are required to go through the lessons as they receive them and attempt the practice exercises before the next set is received by them. Students should therefore be conscious of the mailing schedule and plan their studies accordingly.
Detailed course instructions will be mailed along with set I.The course is designed very carefully to test the students at every stage.
Practice exercises: For each topic, adequate number of MCQ's are provided for practice. Students are expected to solve these MCQ's and submit to Vidyasagar for assessment on time.
Short Tests : This is a test on each topic. These short tests are offered to only those students who solve all the practice exercises and submit to Vidyasagar for assessment on time. These tests are offered as an incentive to the serious minded students.
Unit Tests : On each set, there is a cumulative test based on topics covered. These tests shall be conducted live/home. We shall have 5 unit tests.
Revision Tests : There will be four such tests. These tests will be conducted during March/April 2011. These tests are specially designed to revise the topics of each set towards the end of the course.
Model Tests : There shall be 5 to 7 Model Tests, each covering entire syllabus on CET pattern and shall be conducted "LIVE" and after Std. XIIth board exams.
Analysis Reports of Tests : The Analysis Reports of tests shall be given to the student after the tests which shall incorporate a wide range of pertinent information about your personal score, also gives highest, lowest and average marks obtained by students in that particular test. The topics where you did not perform well requires extra learning. (Refer to Annexure - I)

The students can send in their extra difficulties with attempts and we will provide comments on the attempts with solutions. The additional rules in this regard will be given in the Course Instructions booklet. You may also send your difficulties on fax no. 022-24143141 or on email : success@vidyasagar.com.
From Students: Periodic feedback will be elicited from each student corresponding to each topic. This feedback will be acted upon as soon as possible to create dynamic improvement in program delivery
To Students: Computerised feedback with comparative rankings of performance in Unit / Model Tests will be sent to Students.Handbooks on the subject of PCM and/or PCB shall be given as a ready reference during the course.

For students with Science & Maths marks at Std. X 2009: 230 & above at SSC and 180 & above at ICSE / CBSE shall get a concession of Rs. 1000/- in Basic fees for PCB/PCM and Rs.1200/- for PCMB.
Admission card duly filled in with Date of Birth, Postal address, Tel no. with STD. Code, Mobile no. Incomplete forms shall not be accepted.
3 passport size photographs [One pasted (please paste and do not staple) on the admission form + 2 loose]. Your name should be clearly written at the backside of loose photographs.
Photocopy of Std. Xth mark sheet
Fees can be paid by local Cheque, cash or DD (payable at Mumbai) at any of our offices. Students residing at places other than our branches should send completed admission forms with enclosures and fees by D.D. payable at Mumbai in favour of Vidyasagar Classes to Mumbai H.O. Only.
Note: Admissions taken, shall be treated confirmed, subject to submission of above relevant documents at the time of admission.
Fees and service tax, once paid, are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable under any circumstances, except in the cases mentioned in (*) below. The decision of the Management is final and no queries will be entertained under any circumstances..

The refund is possible only in the following circumstances:*If Vidyasagar cancels the course/ venue after having announced the same, full fees received plus service tax, will be refunded.
If the student, after having paid the fees, cancels the admission minimum 15 days prior to commencement of the course, the fees received will be refunded after deducting Rs. 1000/- towards administration charges and the entire amount of service tax. No refund will be granted, if the written request for cancellation of admission is received less than 15 days prior to the commencement of the course.
We have a lot of respect for those students who get selected at entrance Examination. We respect their brilliance, hard work and unyielding efforts. We shall give cash prizes to our students who succeed at MHT-CET ’11 and are within first hundred.

Note :
The prize scheme is applicable only to Ranks of General Category. State Merit Rank (MHT-CET ’11).
Student taking admission to this course specifically agrees and undertakes to submit to us a photo copy of MHT-CET’11 admit card as soon as it is received by the student. Unless a student submits to us the photo copy of admit card before Entrance Examination date, he/she shall not be eligible for the prize money.
If a student obtains a rank in more than one course he/she shall be eligible for only one prize money whichever is higher in value.
