Course Structure
The above course broadly has following features:
1. Study material
Foundation Material : The new syllabus of Std. XII has 30-40% topics which are in continuation/basic topics required for
concept clearing in Std. XI and important from CET '10 point of view. Such material shall be combined and given to you
as foundation material which can be referred by students during CET '10 preparation.
The course material is in the form of lessons on the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and / or Mathematics with
sufficient no. of MCQs. The contents of these lessons are consistent with CET examination.
All the lessons are divided into FIVE sets and are mailed to students by courier or registered post as per the
predetermined schedule.

Students are required to go through the lessons as they receive them and attempt the practice exercises before the next
set is received by them. Students should therefore be conscious of the mailing schedule and plan their studies
accordingly. Detailed course instructions will be mailed along with set I.
2. Tests
The course is designed very carefully to test the students at every stage.
| (i) | Practice exercises: For each topic, adequate number of MCQ's are provided for practice. Students are expected to solve these MCQ's and submit to Vidyasagar, as per the prescribed dates, for assessment |
| (ii) | Short Tests: This is a test on each topic. These short tests are offered to the students who solve all the practice tests and submit to Vidyasagar for assessment on time. These tests are offered as an incentive to the serious minded students. |
| (iii) | Unit Tests: On each set, there is a cumulative test based on topics covered. These tests shall be conducted live/home. We shall have 5 unit tests, based on CET pattern |
| (iv) | Model Tests: There shall be 5 to 7 Model Tests, each covering entire syllabus on CET pattern and shall be
conducted "LIVE" and after Std. XIIth board exams. |
3. Memory based CET Exam papers
Last 3 years question papers shall be given to the students towards the end of the course for practice.
4. Extra Difficulty Solving Facility
The students can send in their extra difficulties with attempts and we will provide comments on the attempts with solutions.

5. Feedback
| (i) | From Students: Periodic feedback will be elicited from each student corresponding to each topic. This
feedback will be acted upon as soon as possible to create dynamic improvement in program delivery. |
| (ii) | To Students: Computerised feedback with comparative rankings of performance in Unit / Model Tests will be
sent to Students. |
6. Handbooks
Handbooks on the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics shall be given as a ready reference during
the course.
7. E-Learning Zone
