Prize Scheme

We have a lot of respect for those students who get selected at All India PG (MD / MS) / State level Entrance Examinations. We respect their brilliance, hard work and unyielding efforts. We shall give cash prizes to our students who succeed at AIPGE / AIIMS / PGI / State PG Entrance Exams.

Note:
Students securing rank in more than one PG Entrance Examination will be eligible only for one prize. (Prize for the higher monetary value). Attested copy of the result letter & relevant documents will be necessary to verify the prize money claim. Photocopy of Rank letter or intimation of getting a rank should reach our Mumbai office (H.O.) within 30 days after result declaration to be eligible for prize money. Rights to consider prize money for other PG entrance exam rankers (other than AIPGE / AIIMS / PGI / State PG), lies solely with the Vidyasagar management. Students are therefore, requested to submit the results of other entrance exams as well for consideration.  Prize scheme is applicable only for those exams in which student secure a rank after taking admission with Vidyasagar. E.g. Any student taking admission in June 2009 will not be eligible for prize money incase, he/she secures a rank in AIIMS May 2009 or PGI June 2009 or state PG entrance conducted before June 2009.  The final list of eligible candidates will be prepared in early part of July 2010. Prize money shall be handed over to eligible students in an annual felicitation function to be held at Mumbai during July / August 2010. The prize scheme is applicable only to the rank holders of general category/open category and not to the ranker of any other category such as SC, ST, others. In case of a tie, the prize money will be divided.

To receive prize money, students him/herself must attend the Annual Felicitation function. Otherwise he/she will forfeit the prize money.
