WTS REPORTS (2009)

Vidyasagar Classes commenced coaching activities in 1985 with IIT-JEE; in fact we pioneered classroom coaching for IIT-JEE in Mumbai in 1985. Program for all india PMT followed suit in 1987, with Vidyasagar first adopting the Crash Course format for coaching student for competitive entrances.

In 1991-92, Vidyasagar established a presence in the MBA entrance segment by introducing coaching program for MBA-CET & IIM-CAT. These cources where discontinued in 1996 following internal restructuring of our coaching programs. cources of Hotel Management Entrance was started in 1996.

In 1998, the importance of PCB marks to secure a medical seat ended, as the Maharashtra State Government announced a common entrance test to determine admissions for the same. True to its tradition, Vidyasagar pioneered coaching programs for MH-CET as well as BMS-CCEE Entrance form 1999 onwards.

Also in 1997, we created a coaching program for MBBS doctor struggking to secure a postgraduate seat through All India PG Entrance under a separate division,-Vidyasagar Panacea.

This coaching program offered to classroom students (at Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Nashik, Nagpur and New Delhi) and correspondence students all over India is appropriately christened Regimen (meaning intensive tratment protocol).

In 2003, we lauched coaching program GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering) for student to success a Post-Graduate seat (M. Tech/M. E.) through all India Entrance.

By end 2003, we are re-entering into MBAEntrance Coaching Prigram, specialy IIM-CAT and MMS-CET.

In 2004, with the annoucement of Entrance Examination of Engineering by Maharashtra Govt.

Since then as of 2006 we are catering to about 10,500 students annually.
